Recluse short poem

Alone I sit in dark and cold,
so much around, yet nothing to hold.

The light beckons me
Urges to see
The honest feelings
Spent on deceitful dealings.

Stumble over a shattered dream
and pain that made me scream.

Missing are my emotions
which once swelled like oceans
At a time I was alive,
now I just survive.

Alone I sit in dark and cold,
so much around, yet nothing to hold.

Recluse short poem

In my pursuit of glory, success, fame and bliss, I saw the path ahead torn apart in the darkest of lies, demons, deception and despair… I realized my old self crumbling; leaving a shrewder me: a fascist by choice… Yet
