Heart Beats For You

Heart Beats For You short poem

Photo by Hernan Piñera

I couldn’t stop loving you;
Though every time I tried.
It’s because whenever I needed you;
Every time you were by my side.

Roses were painted red;
And sky was painted blue.
But my life was dyed;
With the lovely colour of you.

My heart in pain and ache;
Whenever needs a mend.
Every time you are there;
To comfort me till the end.

Your love is engraved in my heart;
Sketched beautifully in my mind.
Your words are like a poem;
Without any error flawlessly defined.

We may not be together;
But we will never be apart.
No matter what life brings;
You’ll always remain in my heart.

@mona_jha, when a heart in love speaks, it does so in a melody that sings of dedication, fidelity, among other things, for the loved one. It is fitting that a rhyme graces such speech. And you have obliged beautifully. Inspired? Anyone could guess because it shows. On stricter times, you might come up with measured syllables.

No distance, nothing can weaken true love…the beauty of the poem is that it brings out the power of true love so subtly:)
