Whisps Of Lavender

Whisps Of Lavender short poem

Photo by petermolnar

Across an exotic field of lavender
a gentle breeze drives.
Honey bees happily harvesting pollen
for their owner’s hives.
From flower to flower a host of butterflies
flit about.
Making this field of lavender come alive!
Honey bees and butterflies;
intently working in a field of lavender.
Graciously expressing their gratitude for Nature.
The splendid scent of lavender filling the air.
Wilderness in its finest attire.
The varying shades of lavender;
rippling in a gentle breeze
an essence of Nature’s love
Creation’s desire.

The smell of lavender, the vast lavender colored expanse, the bees, the butterflies. Heavenly.
