A Paradox Of Being

A Paradox Of Being short poem

The key is to avoid the grandeur
or over trivialize
Give self importance to the state of being
or lose myself in the tide
To be just a tiny speck
or be the one and all
Then have thoughts of oneness
yet, forever be an individual
To crave acceptance, appreciation
or is it humility I seek
I continue to search for unity
but, can’t let go of the self indulgent ‘me’
