Rain, rain, rain!
Please don’t come again and again.
I know you are beautiful
And for all the creatures you are wonderful.
You are important for farmers’ needs’
You are favorable to grow their seeds.
with your each and every deed
You are every one’s dear and need.
But indeed; if you see
You are not welcomed by a kid like me.
If you want to know
Then let me tell you why is is it so.
you may do pitter -patter day and night
But when I’m ready for school I need not your sight.
Sorry to say, but is it in our family
To tease pupils by coming timely.
When will you stop? I gaze and gaze.
To me you are like a cage.
Now I m like a winged animal, who cries
And in its dream it flies.
I wait for you to stop
But you don’t. Why don’t you stop?
You make the lane marshy
Oh rain! please have some mercy.
My mother then postpones my school plan
And I’m left on my divan in pain.
Then suddenly you stop!
And I can’t my anger drop.
you vex me by jestingly saying,
‘Hi noodle dupe what are you thinking’
I recall my classmates impressions
And then teachers and lessons,
They might be in pleasure and gay
And I’m out of the way like the curd’s whey.
cheerfully you came and went
but I didn’t to the school went.
Rain, rain, rain!
Please don’t come again and again.
