An imprisoned bird looks through the window, beauty of the stars in the dark sky. She dreams to fly with her wings wide, sensing the fresh air, rejoicing amidst her fellow birds.
She dreams to be happy and free again, collecting twigs and building her nest, feeding her babies in the same old tree, she cries out in deep pain that she be free.
Yet every night she watches the bright sky, with a hope that someone listens to her cry.
Poet’s Note: This poem is related to the bondage that society puts on every individual in the name of custom, culture and rules. As an individual like we have duty towards society so do we have for ourself. So, don’t kill the inner dreams.
Positive thinking brought positive results I bounced back from my minds insults Im free from the torture my mind endured How bad I truly was seems absurd Free to enjoy the future once more Can use my mind for what

Matter and spirit Noisy and quiet A timeless circle Magnificent miracle Of life and death Poverty and wealth A world designed Just to remind You to live in harmony A peaceful ceremony A fruit from a tree With a seed
The world hates you You’re caught in a scrape Everything is untrue You can’t escape You’re caught in a cage Brought down to your knees You’re not a mage In pity, you say please Stop your mind Take a chance
