Posterity.. short poem

Search not for me in sepia tinted hues,
Seek me not in memories when you have the blues.
I was someone who dwelt in your domain
And yet a soul uncaptured, free of rein.
Remember me not in belongings I leave behind,
To worldly possessions I have always been blind.
Erect not an epitaph when I’m gone, so grand,
For like this fickle frame it shall blow away like sand.
If you ought, remember me in what was written or said,
That is my essence, the soul’s song unfettered and unafraid.
And if you can recall what I felt, thought or shared,
You will know I am with you and how deeply I cared..

Some verses echo our thoughts. And some other resonate so deep in the core, they give birth to many un-discovered thoughts. Your verses do both. What a thought-provoking piece @nupur . It is a pleasure reading your poem.
