Do You Even Care?

Do you even care?
Are you even aware?
You cause me so much pain
The only feeling you should have is “Shame”
I haven’t seen you in a year
Everyday I would shed a single tear
You were my hero
But that was long ago
Do you even try
Or do you just defy
I wish I could see you
You see how much I’ve grew
But that’s not going to happen
I’m done trying to bargain
You’ve made me feel like a fool
All you are is cruel
I’m done with you being so asinine
Now is my time to shine
I will not let you pull me down
I refuse to frown
You put everything before me
Even that evil remedy
You’re my mother
But you’re starting to turn into a blur
It’s almost as if you’re a stranger
A stranger who puts my feelings in danger
So whenever you think of me, your son
Just know, that I am done

Well, I'm a 15 year old living with my Father. I've had some depression in my past and I take control of it by writing poems. Most of my poems will be depressing. So, if you're looking for something happy to read then you came to the wrong place. I hope to get some feedback from you guys so I can become a more advanced writer! Thank you :)

A mother can inflict such pain… there are some strange people, when hurt comes from someone you are not conditioned to expect it from, then the pain is even more excruciating.

They Left Me Forever Till And Even Yesterday

Care

Care short poem

The noise of a crescent climbs wordlessly. In the night of dew and wind, for its native starless beams- holding the thread of a thought, walking through wall of disbelief. Before and after the murder of a spark; the heart

Care

Care short poem

I met myself the other day, In the mirror giving me a stare, Asking me questions in despair, Asking me if I really care? I looked away, outta the window, And the world has changed, In my backyard, I see
