Silent Conversations

Silent Conversations short poem

As I lay down on the sandy beach,

And looked deep in your silvery blue eyes,

I saw that familiar twinkle,

As you looked at me and smiled.

You gazed at me as I lay,

Blanketed by the love in the wind,

You gently put the winds to play,

And told me to sing.

I sang a song,

I sang all night,

And then as it dawned,

You hurriedly went out of sight.

I now sit here,

And await the dusk of the night,

To catch a gaze from your silvery blue eyes,

To have silent conversations with your starry sparkling eyes.
