My Facial Hair

My Facial Hair short poem

When I first adorned you,
I was always so unsure…
I was fighting my conscience,
And kept looking for a cure…!

Years passed yet I wondered,
What would this world say…
If I went on with you,
For any longer than a day…!!

Days came a passed by,
We spent more time together…
But yet I had to let you go,
When I was to meet her…!

When she left for somewhere unknown,
You gave me more company…
It felt good when you were around,
I was more closer to theophany…!!

I longed even more,
but feared the society’s wrath…
But my courage was resolute,
As you grew in my guided path…!

Yet again months have passed,
it’s time to lop you again…
Yet this time I shall see you more often,
though everyone might treat us with disdain…!!

In less than a few hours,
We shall part our ways…
away you will be though,
only for a few days…!

I know I cant count on you,
But you will always be there…
I truly am and forever will be,
In love with you – my facial hair…!!
