The Life Of A Tree

The Life Of A Tree short poem

Photo by 3baiD™

The life of a tree starts from a seed,
Be it an Oak, a Mahogany or even a weed;
All it needs is a few drops of rain, sunshine and a little care,
In a year or two, it would be a silent companion
With whom your memories you can share;
With time it would grow up to realms and appear to touch the sky,
On whom young children can climb, enjoy its fruits,
Its shade, watch birds nest and even fly by;
It would be so difficult to watch so many generations come and go,
And yet be a giver of life and endurance to all,
Whether a friend or a foe.
