Oh My Little Angel

Oh My Little Angel short poem

Oh my daughter
Oh my little angel
Don’t know how time flies
Seems only like yesterday
When you were placed in my waiting arms
Hugging you close, seeing the tiny bundle of joy
My own flesh my own blood
Didn’t know how you snuggled quietly into my heart
Those special moments brought tears into my eyes
Those proud moments are still fresh in my mind
Watching you over the years
Growing into a nice fine young girl
Was a dream fulfilled
I am blessed to have you
Had read somewhere God could not be everywhere so he made mothers
Wish to thank the one above all of us
And like to say God could not send ANGELS to everyone
So he created daughters
No words can describe the feelings
No one describe the pride
To have a daughter like you
The happiness which comes from inside
Stay blessed my darling angel
May God always be with you
Yours proud PAPA

Poet’s note –
I dedicate this poem to one of my best friend’s daughter whose birthday is just round the corner….God bless the young girl, the darling angel of her proud parents.

Lovely savi…

Your poem could convey all the love and affection of a parent to their daughter.
I can understand it very well because I have two sons very close to my heart.
