It’s been a day, maybe two
Since our chance encounter when I met you
And suddenly now the words are pouring
Like the rain on a mid summer morning

It’s beautiful this feeling, this constant yearning
But I knew from the start
the odds are not in my favour
Alas I can’t stop now
All I want is to be with you forever

I kept at bay, only just for a day
But the thought of you never left me
Not even for a minute my heart astray
You were on my mind, through night and through day

I know the reason and the reasoning
Logical with no meaning
I even agree to disagree
But my heart is bound, it can’t be set free

This feeling that is brewing
Emotions overflowing
It’s gotta stop, I know
But you don’t make it easy
And yet my love continues to grow

A gaping hole you left in me,
a sombre smile when I think of thee,
this heart will never fully know what thou would mean to me
Just a bond it seems that was never meant to be

So take care & be well
Do think of me,
Even if time stands still
This brief moment we shared
Will be my most precious memory – my most treasured.

Rendezvous short poem

Wanting more of you in the bed of moon, where present and past were disrobing. The bee stings, O my god, arrange the pure darkness of milk, hanging on persona of future. The yielding was painful, its blankness. You were

Eagles Rendezvous short poem

On the shorelines of the Adam’s River, Bald and golden Eagles from near and far line the meandering river’s embankments. Salmon struggling upstream to spawn. Chancing the elements. Bald and golden eagles are screaming in delight, as they eloquently glide

A perfect rendezvous

A perfect rendezvous short poem

My dreams know no boundaries, they brew no fear, they aren’t banished by any legalities nor are blocked by undue formalities. My dreams take me where I want, they let me play and sing a song, they are my only
