A Walk Down The River

A Walk Down The River short poem

Let’s go down the river
Let’s bury our pain together
Let’s hold hands and forget all our scars
Let’s go along the beautiful hues
And forget the times we felt blue

The pale wind takes all the bitter darkness
My body isn’t just made up of bones and flesh
It is also has the scars I try to hide
But tonight I ain’t going to hide
So let’s go down the river
Lets bury our pains together

It’s dark and it’s mysterious
I should be scared
But tonight I ain’t going to fear
As tonight I am going to be myself
Me who had once got lost in the darkness of terror
So let’s go down the river
Let’s bury our pains together

Will you hold my hand
As I walk down the river
Will you hold my hand
When you see me, the real me
Will you still hold my hand when you see my bruises?

Let’s go down the river
Let’s bury our pains together

Prajvi, rise up after drowning your sorrow in the river. Sweetly expressed!

Geetha Paniker

Beautifully expressed. A river does heal.

The River ode

As The River flows – my life completes itself.. An enlightened tryst with the almighty, Created by destiny, I was born To flow like a never ending river A tough undefined journey, quintessentially alone The Himalayas promised me the purity

A Walk In The Woods

A Walk In The Woods short poem

A walk in the woods. Thunder in the distance. Lighting dancing, edging dark clouds. Soft rain thru the pines. Boughs dripping in the pond. Birds sounding bird talk. Many languages to be heard. Frogs in the pond announcing their attendance.

Night Walk

Night Walk short poem

Full moon night Sky covers with stars You by my side What else I want in this dark Holding your hand and Walking through the path Laughing at the useless talk Now a good company I have got Looking into

The Blind Walk

The Blind Walk long poem

Wondering through life blindly Looking for resolutions, that will certainly never come With no real direction, assurance or assistance Roaming aimlessly about through life Drifting here and there and to and fro Walking down dark hallways with no exits Stuck

Memory Walk

Memory Walk short poem

Wanted to visit old lanes for a mocking bird. A luminous proxy wanted to play a game. Treachery flees from the trees and settles on the white wings of flying swans. No logarithm will stop to watch the invisible numbers
