Peacocks on a pipeline

Peacocks on a pipeline short poem

Two peacocks on a pipeline
Where do you go
we go to fetch water
for our friend crow!
Peacocks on a pipeline
What do you see
We see the blue sky
And the gray sea.
Peacocks on a pipeline
When will you come
To your own home
We shall be back
With our own sack
With a sackful of seeds
and sackful of worms
To party with our friends .
In our green home
Peacocks on a pipeline
Are you fine
We are so
And very much so
We are fine as our friends are fine !

@Jayshree Murali for the benefit of the readers we would like to tell them that this childlike innocent verse happened after your recent visit to Goa when on your drive you happened to see Peacocks on a pipeline….! And it is indeed charming the way you have threaded a conversation with them about their outing on the pipeline. absolotely enchanting !
