Adventures Of A New Housewife

Adventures Of A New Housewife short poem

Docked on foreign shores
I look back no more
With stardust in my eyes
Pots and pans by my side
I embark on a domestic adventure
Go further than I have ever ventured

So I sail on unchartered water
Pulp garlic in pestle mortar
Bits of sticky rice and ice trays
Laundry on the line and I sway
Soap suds and eggs…
Lace my days!

New Sod short poem

This day of sixty fruitful weeks shadow pristine relics of bundled keepsakes adorned in obsolete gazettes of passing snow storms, puppy training and next door’s junk mail. Transition logs re-call six states, five military orders, four duty stations, six rusted
