Awakening short poem

The dew, now a honey gold,

slipped between the blades of lush,

The cleansing dawn,

The morning hush,

The clearing of sky,

The fleeting rush.

With a twinkle in my eye,

And dreams unborn,

I rose to the awakening,

Of a brand new morn…
