Show The Way

Show The Way short poem

Walking in the forest looking at all the greens
In my mind’s eye something now that simply gleans
All the colours have light upon
Some are shadows some are sun filled and brightly shone
I see why they change so often and so true
I see them because of the time I spent with you
You showed me the darkness to keep me from such harm
You gave me the brightness to then feed my soul to warm
All the colours in between are moods floating in a stream
Just walk along with them until you sit beside one to dream
Then when you wake the light has gone and nothing is there to guide you or save you from
Then you look up to the stars and the moon and feel that someone is saying to you shine on……………………………… shine on.
