Words countdown

Words countdown short poem

A thought so perturbing that questions our state of being
what is the purpose of this life and living?
too short a time and the doubts unending
this countdown in sync with our birth
sooner demystified the better it is
limited time given on earth
depleting word each line
will I know
or just
go?

An interesting and unique format to put forth the thought of ever descending life. It’s these experiments you keep doing with words that makes the reader look forward to your verses. Be it a ‘soapy poem’ or the ‘climb downhill’, you do have your way with words @Abhishek_Jain

Those Unsaid Words

Those Unsaid Words short poem

I learned to hold all my feelings inside until late at night. I covered my mouth with my hands so that no one could hear my tears. I perfected my fake smile. Today, after so many days, painfully enough, but
