Passers-by

Passers by short poem

They are passing me by in the sky
smiling silently as
I sit near the sill and squint.
Free, they follow the breeze while
I try to tackle these tiresome lines.
do they know I watch them gather
and grow apart?
do they look too when I gather my wits
or cry aloud?
I think they do.
My allies in the sky. Passers-by.

Wish the clouds watched, knew and helped us in our struggles.
