Soapy feeling

Soapy feeling short poem

Each touch of yours
absolves me all, but
takes away
a part of yours.
One day, be known for sure,
you’ll disappear into thin air
serving selflessly to me
and my full body bare.
This love is continual
for you shall be reborn,
with a new face and name
cycling till I’m also gone.

What a unique metaphor to put forth the ephemerality of life. And we keep taking so much for granted. On a lighter note, this poem is a testimony that poets can write about anything and everything 😉
