My Lady Of Love

My Lady Of Love short poem

The greatest gift that we might give
Is love, as long as we do live
Love, is such a selfless deed
Once given is most well received
Love that’s precious, love that’s sweet
She gives to all that she does meet
For with that glint within her eye
Her love she gives, to you and I
Love that comes in many guises
And brings to us the best surprises
And so to her a red rose gift
To warm her heart and spirit lift
Oh Divine Isis, Queen above
Forever give, your gift of love

Ironic that the name Isis can stand for two opposing ideas… may the goodness of the Goddess prevail over us all
