Le Chocolat

Le Chocolat ode

The rich noir sugary waterfall gently flows
Caressing the soft luscious bays of cherry red lips
Imagine a calm, crystal-clear river, waves that smoothly glow
The glistening moonbeam dancing on the oar’s tips
Listen, as they gingerly part the midnight blue liquid
The little boat afloat, I exchange my deepest secrets
With the sparkling diamonds embedded in the sky
To live this dream, all one needs is that one sinful bite
Sinking one’s teeth into this simple delight
The fun drenches one inside out
The silky texture that fills one’s mouth
The candy-saturated wave crashes upon the shore
Leaving one is a state of astonishment and awe.
Today, I witness with my own senses
The power of my luscious, creamy and magical bar
Now, I have seen how drop-dead gorgeous divas look like
Seductive glances from bright caramel eyes fall into my line of sight
She is the faerie queen of confectionary.
She’s beautiful. I’ll proclaim my love for her whether near or far
Oh, J’aime de la chocolat!

(Oh, I love chocolate in French. To be read as Zhe-ai-me d-la sho-ko-lah )

I could feel the silky texture of the sinful bite of sho-ko-lah!
