Monsoon prose poem

When the head begin to reel under the burning sun
When the tongue gets dried up in the scorching sun
When the body spills sweat like floods due to heat of the Sun
When the life become unbearable by the boiling Sun
When the hope of living gets murkier by the red hot Sun
When the cloud of uncertainty hovers around those living under the Sun
Suddenly Thick dark clouds emerging on the horizon
The thunder, lightening and deafening noise roaring from the skies
The high intensity rain lashing on the parched land and lifeless species
Heralds the Onset of monsoon making the almost dead come back to life dancing and kicking

Life is a closed file sans Monsoon while Life is an open file with onset of monsoon

Ramapriya ji, yet again wonderful use of beautiful words, woven into a beautiful poem, Monsoon is and shall always be welcomed giving respite from the scorching sun, the rain drops quenching the thirst of the dried up land, a boon to the farmers, giving ideas to the poets’ mind, since time immemorial, perhaps these dark clouds gave birth to Meghdoot by Kalidas,
liked the line “Life is a closed file sans Monsoon while Life is an open file with onset of monsoon” ……..congrats

After the scorching summer heat, everyone looks forward to a cooling dash of monsoons:)
