Heart’s Journey Home

Heart’s Journey Home ballad

Have you looked to the heavens – a star-filled sky
Searching for answers, but not knowing why

In that moment of doubt a vision appears
A stream of white that brings you to tears

A shooting star, a message meant solely for you
A message of hope for blessings anew

Let go of the past and the fears that reside
It is the past or the future, it is yours to decide

Believe in yourself and the beauty within
Embrace your future, have faith, your heart will guide you again

It was broken yes, I know that is true
But when you look back do you really see you

Or a shadow perhaps that merely followed your steps
Willed and misguided by mistakes and regrets

The life you have lived was it truly your own
Have faith in that star and your heart’s journey home

The hawk was always hatching a pacer, to spin the surveillance, tampering the tracks of violence. The haul was heavy. Moon and fishes went on to spread the dragnet striking gold from the liquid denials. The sovereignity was violated of

My heart is your second home. Waiting for you to get home after a long day of work. Drive up the pathway of eyes and park. I’ll be looking behind the blinds. Talking to you the whole while. Pass the
