Credo short poem

Ages ago, story of a girl
Dejected for what she looked
Thinking just fair and beautiful
Had rights to glory booked

Did not realize that beauty
Lies in the eyes of beholder
Always self deprecated
Life felt like a boulder

A breakthrough insight
Blind to the imminent change
Discerned beauty is not just looks
It’s in wielding one’s skill range

Dawn of this realization
Broke her sealed senses
Now she is her own favorite
Exploring life beyond fences

beautiful poem, loved each and every word of it specially “Now she is her own favorite” someone has said once to me, first love yourself then only you can love the world” the physical beauty has nothing to do with the real beauty of a woman/man…..sooner or later only the inner beauty is loved and adored…….good to realise ones inner beauty early in life and be one’s own favourite, love ‘thy” and the world loves you………..keep writing loved every bit of it…….

Realizing your real self-worth, rather than focusing on physical aspects, is the real dawn of maturity in life….
