Writing On The Wall

The day I was born
written was the day I would burn

The day I went to school
written was the fate of what I churn

The day I got married
written where I am destined

The day I retired from service
written for sure the countdown begins

The day I fell sick
written was the time I would chicken

The day I was burnt
written was the place I would be reborn

The number of days I would Live
written with no scope for any extension

nice poem, your poem makes one to believe that we all are predestined the day we take birth, not a day more not a day less, yes at times we feel that there are certain happenings/incidents in our life on which we dont have any control, they creep in our life, wanted or unwanted and at that particular moment we feel and trust there is one above all of us who has written for us the WRITING ON THE WALL….and life goes on as per those writings….we all are children of destiny…….no doubt ……loved your poem………so true

It is true destiny has control over my life in every way……..
…….except the way I think………
……….and I think by catching god’s feet we can rewrite our destiny in certain crucial matters……..
…………of course I am not saying this out of confidence……..I am saying this out of helplessness .

Every thing is written. But we can pray for some extension.

@ramapriya_nr…..Life guarantees only one thing….that is DEATH…there is no guarantee that one will live…but there is guarantee that one will die….everything in life revolves around this fundamental principle….which many ignore during their hectic busy_ness of life…

well written …
