Sojourn short poem

It was razed

within a day,

a change of hands

quite possible I say,

now it’s been crushed

to all mud and dust,

life is about change

for change is a must.

It shall now

be reborn,

for the mother wails

and is torn,

to foster new people

new dreams will here be born,

old wishes fulfilled

so the people all gone,

but did anyone care

if the house ever moved on?
