Find something you’re passionate about and let it consume you. Do not run from it. Let it keep you awake for 48 hours at a time. And while you’re running on zero sleep, create the next wonder of the world. Allow yourself to be lost in whatever it is that makes you happy. And never back down when things get rough. If it gives you an opportunity to escape from the disastrous reality that is your very mundane life then do not fear it. Embrace It. It’s as rare as the beauty that is every individual person on this planet.
So, if you’re lucky enough to find something you’re passionate about – let it consume you.
I am currently just a 17 year old, senior in high school, who uses poetry as an outlet for the good and the bad of my reality. I write to forget and I write to remember. I'm inspired by so many things, whether it be music, lyrics, poetry, stories, or experiences of mine or others. I just hope that one day my poetry can speak to someone the way many poets works have spoken to me. With that being said, I hope you guys enjoy my poems!
