Silent Request

Silent Request short poem

When I sleep,
You come to me
You sit by my side
And touch my face with your soft fingers.
your touch makes me warm and secure.
I forget all my worries.
You kiss on my cheeks
With your trembling lips
Your kiss fill my heart with peace.
You stop my tears with your silent touch.
Your presence make me to feel-
The richest person in the world.
I wish you would never leave me alone.
I want to see you with my naked eye,
I want to feel your presence with my touch.
But, can I ask you
Did your master give you permission
To visit this thrown away child-
If I see your master,
I could clear my doubts.
He knows, am alone in this world,
He knows, a mother can never be –
Duplicated or replaced.
Then why did he separate you from me.
I have a silent request to you-
Get permission from your master,
To stay some more time-
With this ‘left away’ child.
I wish to see you with my open eyes,
But I am scared- I am scared,
You may leave me-
Leave me all alone, in this world.
So let your visit be a reality,
At least in my heart.

Who Was Me? short poem

A misbelief breaks into rags. Still I dream of some gods on black pages piecing together the words of light. The rains come in the cage of tears, voicelessly. Striated muscles of splintered faith go to cramps birthing the avatar
