Use Your Imagination

Use Your Imagination short poem

Dull, dark, dank and desolate,
Standing amidst the crowd of all things ignored.
It mulls over the utter uselessness of being bestowed,
Upon the creatures that so nonchalantly wave it off.
What purpose does it serve, what fortune does it beget?
To have such power at your beck and call,
And throw it away like a wrapper while on an eve stroll.

A mind that wonders, but does not wander.
Held back by the leash of conventions and fear,
Outlasts its usefulness quicker than gunpowder.
It asks of you to light up that mental flare,
To be heard, reasoned with, argued with and won over with
All that you have to do is dare.

Pretty little mind, treated with oh so little care…………..

So true! How rarely do we actually try to use our mind’s potential!

In a world of dreams and imaginations, There’s perfection, make-believe stories. All’s the way, we wish life to be. With equality, without disease, Over populated places. All reside in mansions, have beautiful bodies. Love is as the Cinderella story. King
