Just A Drop Of Water

Just A Drop Of Water short poem

I was just a single drop of water
wandering to look for life,
thrown by many when they were wet
drunk by many when the sun rays set
used by many to complete their chores
when wandered from places to places
I arrived at your shore
You were an ocean
you were my life,
dived into you to survive
learnt to live, learnt to smile
learnt to face my fears through miles
Now as I’m into you
I have no identity,
thought to be with you till eternity.
Don’t banish me from your kingdom
don’t evaporate me to the sun
to give him more life,
as this dying breath needs you to survive,
she weeps, she mourns but doesn’t want to
leave your land
if parted from you, won’t be able to stand.

I Plead, I Just Want To Feel Alive. long poem

Sometimes, I just want to fly away and sit by a coast dotted with tiny creeks and gaze at the pebbles sleeping peacefully at the bottom of the stream while drenching my feet in water as pure as an infant.
