To my husband, with love

To my husband, with love short poem

Each moment that I spend in waiting
Counting each second, thinking of you
Every moment of love that you framed in my life
Every special thing you did for me
Each hug, every song you sang to me
Each word that you wrote for me
I read a million times, smiling in pride
As I feel the joy of true love all pervading –
My life and my soul
And as I wait for you to spring at the door anytime
That shy look and sweet smile writ large
I realize – without you, I am lost and very incomplete
Make haste love, come and take me in your arms
And love me as the woman you made me out to be.

This is an amazing picture of love in its truest form. I and my husband have a relationship like this. We have been married for 26 years and every year gets better. It is true when you love this way that you feel like your life would be incomplete. I cannot imagine what my life would be like without him and I choose to never find out.:)
