Silence Of The Heart

Silence Of The Heart ballad

Words go unspoken, more often than they should
My love for you is real, but it is often misunderstood

Sometimes I feel lost, like a ship that sails off course
The stars have closed their eyes; I have lost my true north

They say the darkest storms bring the most beautiful dawn
In that moment of doubt, my mind can’t fathom the sun

It dwells in the darkness and consumed by fear
There are no words neither my mind, nor my heart can share

The silence is my reprieve, my shelter from the storm
Someday this silence will end; I will surrender in your arms

That day will be ours; it is not so far away
Please wait for me, my love, in your arms I will stay

I can now see land, in the distant far south
I marvel in the sunrise, my mind free of doubt

I have sailed rough waters, now I am destined for shore
Your arms await me, I have returned home forevermore
