Love sonnet 222

Love sonnet 222 sonnet poems

When all the joys conspired to leave your heart,
And turned all colors that you see to gray,
Your dreams dissolved, each one, its every part,
You were now strangers heading each your way;

That road that faded on a bend hid her,
You wished her figure reappears again,
Though not today, too soon, as so it were,
For even if wounds heal, you won’t know when;

And yet, you know, amidst the wintry cold,
Half of the world is warm where hearts rejoice,
Where joy replaces glum, as often told,
And sorrow has to go without a choice;
. . . . In time, your heart well see colors emerge,
. . . . And dreams will come where joys would all converge.

♪ ♫ Well, I guess, it could be said that if my knowledge and wisdom were converted to wealth, I may humbly say, in all honesty, that I am not a millionaire. But if out of my two cents, you would agree to accept one of it, then, I could proudly say, in all modesty, that I have done charity.♥

From sadness to knowing of coming warmth—I liked this poem very much.

Reyvrex,this is so visual. It brings your sadness to the front while subtly “hope” is where you delve on. Short and quite lyrical. Great!

Loved your poem, hope keeps us going in life and there is always light at the end of the tunnel…….soon the colors will change from grey to vibrant colors (i liked your introduction about yourself too………having two cents and offering one for the noble cause of charity……superb!!! liked that )
