Changing My Fate

Changing My Fate short poem

Hooked on to a few things,
Breaking free is not easy…
Got to kill these habits,
They’ve been making me lazy…
Somethings I do make me,
Feel so awkward sometimes…
But old habits don’t die fast,
We’ve heard it every time….
I’ve got to get over these,
Before its too late…
For it won’t take long,
Me standing at death’s gate…
But I know it’s in my hands,
To change my own fate…!!!

@Rocean_Sharma though your submission was under the category of a sonnet it has been changed to short poem on account of the following:Poems are literary work of distinctive style and rhythm and are used to express feelings and ideas. A sonnet comprise of 14 rhyming lines of same length. In English sonnet three groups of four lines with cross-rhyme pattern (abab, cdcd, efef) are followed by a final couplet (rhymed gg). Thus all sonnets are poems but all poems are not sonnets.Poems can be about anything but sonnets basically depict the relation between two different things in order to send some message about them.
