In The Eyes Of A Child

In The Eyes Of A Child short poem

In the eyes of a child,
I saw that it was heartbreaking
That adults can compete
For simple assumptions
While it is simple to tell
Beautiful and funny nonsense.
I saw that he dreamed of recklessness
And that he was ignoring the differences
Those that should enrich you
And not kill you!
I saw that he wanted happiness,
That people will finally look
And no one dies of hunger,
The candles’ light glow
On the hope and dignity
In this vast humanity,
Which gradually risk of falling
In vanity conflicts.
In the eyes of a child,
I saw sorrow,
Because it was terrifying
Some do not reach out,
Preferring to curl up on them,
Believing he can save himself
In a terrible and difficult situation,
While on the other you need attention.
In the eyes of a child,
I saw the back of his eyes,
He wanted to move forward,
And that we should never lose hope
In the eyes of a child,
I saw his determination,
For each action
Either as a new spring.
And as nature knows how
It is humanity as a whole
Which must be renewed
And find other ways of thinking!

A pair of hazel eyes look at me. Your ‘bandana’ runs up to forehead, a scarf covers nose, chin and below, the pinky complexion of your cheeks lures me to paint you as a lovely maid. There is no invitation
