True Love

True Love short poem

As a bud, I was tender
praised for my petals
Flattered for my fragrance
Smelled for sweetness

I was laid in a rose bed
protected and possessed
And I never even
cared to peep out.

The day I blossomed
I stretched out and
was surprised to see all
the scenes around me.

You’re the unique
one of whom I wondered
admired and adored
and wished to reach

you appeared to be
alone,missing out
So I cared to console you
wished for wings to fly

But then I realised
I have overlooked the
twinkling stars, worth
to accompany you.

Error is mine ,to expect
my fragrance to reach there
I no longer pity you
But envy you.

Fail In Love

Fail In Love short poem

She was a traveling soul. The galaxy resting above her nose. I’d sit & stare. Wondering where the stars would go next. Both young & in love I let go. Tracing together swirls of color. The planets all together aligned.

Please take my hand, for I am blind. I’ve lost my path and my sense of touch. I’ve fallen, for my hands and feet are behind. Please let me hear, for all is in a hush. My wrist and ankles
