Magnificent Skyline

Magnificent Skyline short poem

You will be amazed. Look at the western skyline!
Back-dropped in a glowing soft pastel peach color.
“What’s that?” you ask. The tranquil sound of Nature
is what you hear, my friend.
The serene honking of Canada Geese mingling with a gentle breeze,
rustling the leaves that didn’t drop last fall because they were too stubborn.
Into the mystic twilight of this magnificent skyline
the silhouetted Canada Geese boisterously wing their way.
Fulfilling the unique harmonics of Nature.
The soft pastel peach color of this magnificent sky-line
deepens the color of the receding twilight.
The sound of the wilderness night flight diminishes.
The haunting attire of the night has now taken full control.
Leaving the beholder with vivid memories of Nature’s wondrous ways.
