Another Million Words..

Another Million Words.. short poem

Photo by pedrosimoes7

No matter how much I say ,
No matter how much you do,
I still have a million more to relay,
To reveal ,to pour out to you;
I love the conversations,
I love the parting hug,
I love the fight on occasions,
I love your friendly tug;
Tell me how could I reveal them to you
With your belief so vehement
That I’m just a friend?
Where would I start
Pouring out pent up emotions from my heart?
How would you react
Would you stop being my friend?
Ignore me if I waited round the bend?
How would I overcome that lump in my throat?
Nah!I don’t wanna end up blahing like a goat!
Besides if I were to be turned down by you
That would hurt my majestic ego;
No I cannot express-
You’ll have to decipher the meaning of my silence;
Or you’ll be ignorant
Till eternity’s end!
And with the end of our lives so will my heart
And with it those words left unsaid
Those million words could be contracted into three-
Three words which you probably
Have guessed already!

Whimsical,talkative,fun loving and clumsy-would describe me perfectly.I write to feel better about myself and take a break from the mundaneness of life.

The Night Of Words prose poem

THE NiGHT OF WORDS an assemblage of thought, Predicted a hint of rain the power of words,from the darkened sky, convey a message for a thought. Was it not one word that launched the words that built the world ?
