Mother Shanti Devi Mittal

Mother Shanti Devi Mittal short poem

The mother of mothers
Your statue remains a reminder
A memory that penetrates through all
The more you are seen, the much more
Your love is felt and judicious dreams are built.
Brevity is not for the lions only,
In your genuine composure I see a Heroine
So pretty and humbly gorgeous in your sari
I believe you were stunning in your days.
The Loveliness came to being with your wisdom
What you have laid is promisingly ever living
I wish all Mothers could dash out spine and sight like you.
Venerable SHRIMATI SHANTI DEVI MITTAL
Mama, as you’ve lived through 1931-2011,
Your thrilling memory would live in your loved ones
Till end of time, your conducting models still prevail.
Dear Mama, words are not enough
Neither do inner thoughts do. Coddling your grave,
Your statue and your memories is not all.
Hope you see me smiling whenever I pass you by.
