Being My Own Friend

Being My Own Friend short poem

We’re in a little trip to our mindscape,
I’m here with me to accompany me.
We’ve brought some dreams and hopes,
And a little grief.
We’ve none but we’re not alone,
That’s our story in brief.
We’ve planned to spread our wings,
Escaping from all the stupid pains.
Then to ride that grey cloud,
And to gift our tears to rain.
We’ll learn to climb upon the Hemlock tree,
And to celebrate the joy of being free.
Storm will never be able to lose our hands,
I’m here with me and we are best friends.
