A Baffling Theme

A Baffling Theme short poem

Photo by overgraeme

I touched your throbbing heart
As you told in the song that
You thought I was listening to.

I too feel that I have touched
The thread you run in the hem of your dream;
Even you’ve divulged the same
In your words and rhyming.

But, bewildered, I’m …
Why this million miles distance,
Between you and me?
Or you tell me, please
What is left to touch
To become someone of your own … ?
