Fool’s Paradise

Fools Paradise short poem

I see fire in your soul
I see your tears raging
I see your face crumbling
I see you standing all quiet
I see fire and dark clouds

You’re standing all alone
With a tiny shawl
No one even stops
No one even notices
They are too busy in their own paradise
not willing to step out

I see fire in your soul
I see you turning into ash
Oh yes, I see it all
But I’m no different
I watch , I pretend
As you fall
But I’m no different
Not willing to step out from my paradise

I look away and walk further
I see a broken heart
I see shattered glass
I see her her screaming with no words
I see her till her voice cracks

I watch , I pretend
As you fall
But I’m no different
Not willing to step out from my paradise

Love it! It’s a very relatable poem about a struggle most people don’t think about.
