Serenity

[VERSE I – Desperation]

With the eyes that cannot see,
Behind a mind that always dreams.

Came the world shaped in black,
Torn apart at the seams.

With the ears that cannot hear,
All the lies and darkest fears.

Came a world forever silenced,
In emptiness disappears.

[CHORUS I – Destination]

Trying to find my,
Identity

Who am I?
And why I am,
HERE…

[VERSE II – Revelation]

Before the fire that burns within me,
Turns to ash and I fade away.

Came the need to be seen,
So I rise to fight today.

With the power of my will,
I will defy the destiny.

This precious time is all I have,
And I don’t need eyes to see.

[CHORUS II – Determination]

Trying to find my,
Identity.

Who am I?
And why I am,
HERE…

Trying to regain,
My sanity.

How could I?
Savor the,
TEARS…

[BRIDGE I – Degeneration]

You can see but you are blind,
I am blind but I can see.

You can hear but you are deaf,
I am deaf but I can hear.

Serenity prose poem

The waters have calmed. The kayak slips by, while the warm breeze blows light. The loon eerily sounds it is near. Sun drenched clouds ooze vanilla cream. The sunset throws an orange purple light over it all, the fish jump
