Binding My Heart

Binding My Heart short poem

I thought the biggest lie,

That I’ve ever heard..

Is, as we let time fly,

Feelings get blurred…!

But nothing changed,

As the flame was still strong…

I had been estranged,

And I knew it was wrong…!!

It seemed years had passed by,

But the time, it moved so slow…

A hurting heart made me cry,

As its true color it had to show…!!!

To bury the pain deep within,

And to never show it again…

The toughest days it has been,

Binding my heart in chain…!!

Now I believe that they were true,

For those feelings have slowly withered….

For a new journey I bid adieu,

Where I hope to sail slithered…!

My heart loves you Was it not some time ago, My heart was like a rock? An impenetrable fortress, With steep cliffs at its side, A distance land, Far away, From where no ordinary soul, Would dare to reside? I
