Unrequited

Unrequited short poem

Longing and wanting to be with the one you love
while your heart breaks and shatters
at the sight of his back
gets further and further away
days turn into weeks
weeks turn into months
and months into years
so it seems
when really no time has passed
and all you can think is about the love that he left
and the love that he’s giving someone else
the love that’s rightfully yours
he is yours
and it hurts
while your heart breaks and shatters
he’s living the life that you always felt was meant for you
and he doesn’t know that you still care
or he knows but instead of replying
he sent the letter back stamped return to sender.

Concessions With The Unrequited short poem

The visceral unease between genders …beauty that evokes incomplete phrases, erotic whispers and dream romances sublimated by acknowledging muses. Their distinct faces ripe with wry condescension cruel–dismissive eyes crystalline blue as the shallowest reefs where wealthy tourists lallygag like sea

Solitude Unrequited Loves Paradise long poem

You are a dream which can’t ever come true; You are the horizon, which can’t ever be touched; You are the cloud, which is never meant to rain; ………… if you stay, burn me in the fire of passion; if
