Father’s Day

Fathers Day prose poem

Our childhood flew, watching you toil so hard!
Days and night appeared almost the same,
when we looked up to you…
Every time we were infirm,
I remembered you stayed up all night with us.
Stunning us the very next day, being ready for your work…
And, today when we fight on petty issues and end up laughing,
Life looks blissful in your smile!

We have grown up seeing you fighting a battle of will,
to make both ends meet,
and, while doing so…
You always kept an eye on our health and well-being,
standing tall for our family, joint though it was…
You are all the strength that we looked upon!

Your forte lies in learning new things,
be it health-issues, horoscopes or English.
Didi has always been your sweetheart,
as you shared your learning and knowledge with her.
A disciplinarian! Yet, never short of Love and Care…
Be it for us, or for the society!
Today, as we still fight our battles to bring stability in our Life.
We feel stronger and better,
to have your constant blessing and Love bestowed on all of us!!!
You are our IDEAL,
And, will remain the Armor of our Life…
“Papa” (The Father) to us, forever and ever!

Doom’s Day

Doom’s Day short poem

The rapture was on prowl to get the believers. You knew what you should not have known about the baby blue. Aphasia, experiences an impulsive violence, beyond the dead. Bionic hands to capture the moment of swapping uremia with swastika.

One Day

One Day long poem

I never knew that one day would be there When I would ask my existence from you One day I would beg you to apply vermilion on my forehead To name my child, to change my identity.. One day that
