14th January – A day never forgotten

14th January A day never forgotten short poem

This day is here again,

Its the same one as before…

Yet completely different in itself,

By just a few contradicting things…

Feelings had bloomed,

After a long unending winter..

I yearned for a companion,

And found you along the way…

The journey was beautiful,

But little did anyone know…

We would be walking two different roads,

On completely different modes…

You played a game slyly,

And won the war easily…

While I’m here left behind,

Battered and down…

Enduring an immense loss,

That happened on this very day…

Time goes by for some but,

Correlated memories live on..

Bringing the reminiscence,

Of how better things would be…

Instead of what happened,

In the days of when in love….!!

Life has its hardships, But it goes on.. doesn't wait for anything, nor lets memories be easily gone...! Poems are the only way, to let all the feelings out... to seek for the meaning, that everyone is talking about...!! So enjoy life, and enjoy the poems... and embrace life, no matter what comes...!!

It is a paradox of Time that “it comes and it goes but has never left and never arrived.” There is truth to the phrase that “Tomorrow never comes” because the present is always the Today.

Some dates remind us of joy , and some remind us how that joy has been taken away…very true…a good poem!
