You

You short poem

Oh, you.
You with your eyes.
A golden brown.
A deep forest green.
They’re an abyss that I become lost in…repeatedly.

You’re my panacea.
A serendipity that is beyond lovely.
Your presence sends a ripple effect of warmth throughout me.
I feel rhapsodic when I’m with you and every minute is ineffable.
I have a myriad of thoughts that involve us together and every second with you is magical.

Oh, you.
Oh, how you consume me.

I am currently just a 17 year old, senior in high school, who uses poetry as an outlet for the good and the bad of my reality. I write to forget and I write to remember. I'm inspired by so many things, whether it be music, lyrics, poetry, stories, or experiences of mine or others. I just hope that one day my poetry can speak to someone the way many poets works have spoken to me. With that being said, I hope you guys enjoy my poems!

This was a lovely poem, without the picture I would have thought this was a love afair with life itself as it unfolds to us.
See we are inspired by pictures too. But yes I enjoyed reading. Keep writing always words words keep us in order a bit I reckon.
